A Hamilton man was charged with aggravated assault after striking a woman with a claw hammer. The woman went to the man’s hotel room working for an escort service. The two were discussing the financial transaction when the man struck the woman.
Police were called when the woman screamed, and the man jumped out of his second story window. The man was jailed with $50,000 bail. The woman suffered severe head injuries and broken bones in her jaw.
