Charges of felony aggravated assault stand against a motorist who threw a cup of coffee into the lap of another motorist. When the defendant was making a slow left turn, the motorist behind him started honking. The defendant then threw a cup of coffee at him and drove off.

According to the defendant, he had dropped his wife off at work and was getting coffee for her and her coworkers. When he heard the honking, he threw a cup of coffee at the man. Seeing it go through the window, he became scared and drove off.
